Development of Postgraduate Studies
at Helwan and Monofia Universities

Brief description of the project:
This is an academic project address the development of postgraduate studies at Helwan and Monofia universities.
The main two areas of development addressed by this project are:
" Study systems (i.e. credit-hour systems).
" Skills and technologies of curriculums design.
The project has 3 main objectives, 6 outcomes and 12 activates. The time frame of the project is 13 months.
The methodology of the project is based on implementing project activities in order to provide skills and technology of the credit-hour system and curriculum design by means of technology transfer, workshops and operational manuals.

General and specific objectives:
" To acquire technologies of curriculum design and credit-hour systems.
" To design a credit-hour system.
" To provide skills and technologies of curriculum design.

Expected deliverables, outcomes:
" Technology transfer.
" A credit-hour system manual.
" An E-admission system.
" Skills and technology of the credit-hour system.
" A curriculum manual.
" Skills and technologies of curriculum design and students' evaluation.

Project Contents:
" System development and design: the provision of a credit-hour system (system development, system design and testing, skill provision, and E-Admission system).
" Curriculum development: skills of designing curriculum, delivery methods, student evaluation techniques, and the provision of related technologies.

Beneficiaries:
This project is expected to benefit 2000 students, 100 staff members, and 20 administrators. It will also benefit society by help improve the abilities and attitudes of graduates.
